Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It exists because Rubiic makes convincing video quickly, and that capability has obvious abuses. The list below is what we act on. We may remove content, pause builds, or suspend or terminate accounts that cross it — with a warning where the violation looks like a mistake, and without one where it does not.

Do not use Rubiic to make

• Impersonations. Video presenting a real person — public figure or otherwise — as saying or doing something they did not, without their documented consent. This includes cloning or imitating a real person’s voice without permission. Commentary and reporting about real people is fine; putting words in their mouths is not.
• Deception presented as authentic. Fabricated news, fake official communications, forged records or testimony, or misinformation designed to be mistaken for fact — including content intended to mislead voters or manipulate markets.
• Anything sexualizing minors. Absolute, no exceptions, reported to the authorities where the law requires.
• Infringing content. Videos built from documents, footage, music, or images you do not have rights to use. Owning a copy is not owning the rights.
• Harassment or hate. Content that targets a person for abuse, or that dehumanizes people on the basis of who they are.
• Fraud and harm. Scams, phishing, malware promotion, instructions for serious wrongdoing, or content that facilitates violence.

Do not use the platform to

• Mass-produce low-value content to spam search engines, social platforms, or inboxes.
• Probe, overload, or interfere with the Service, other customers’ data, or the credit system — including circumventing billing or usage limits.
• Resell raw access to the underlying AI generation as a service of your own. Selling the videos you make is what Rubiic is for; piping our API to your customers is not.

Rules that flow through from our providers

Rubiic is built on AI services from Anthropic, Google, and ElevenLabs, and their usage policies apply to everything generated here. Where the pipeline can enforce a rule mechanically it does — real people, for example, are rendered as illustration rather than photorealistic imagery. Where it cannot, this policy is the enforcement.

Reporting

If you find content made with Rubiic that violates this policy, email support@rubiic.com with a link or a copy. Copyright complaints have a dedicated process in the Terms, §7.
